Slow Cooker Ham and Brie Strata

Slow Cooker Ham and Brie Strata

Slow Cooker Ham and Brie Strata

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of stale or day old Italian bread cubed into 1" pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed ham
  • 7 oz brie cheese cubed
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp each salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder and thyme
  • 1 tbs oregano
  • 1 /3 cup sun dried tomatoes {not oil packed}

Instructions

  • spray your cooker with non stick spray
  • in the cooker whisk eggs and milk
  • stir in all your seasoning
  • add the ham and brie cheese
  • add the bread cubes and sun dried tomatoes
  • gently fold and mix the bread cubes into the mixture
  • make sure all the bread gets into the mixture
  • cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until eggs are cooked through
  • Serve with a sprinkle of herbs and more sun dried tomatoes as garnish
  • Enjoy!

  4. Its hard to believe that such a “company worthy” dish can come out of a Crock Pot! I am pinning this and will be serving it to my family (turkey or chicken version) soon! This sound like just the thing for dinner on a cold winters night. :)
