Sangria Sorbet Float

Sangria Sorbet Float

If you have been a long time reader of this blog then you know I kinda have a thing for Alcoholic Ice Cream Floats.  I am all about a fun drink that makes you think of Childhood but has that special little twist of naughty.  Basically I love booze.  Not like hard drinking Whiskey straight from the bottle booze, but pretty fruity pink booze!  I am all about the Cosmo Martini….. Like ALL About It!  Oh and Red wine lots and lots of red wine.  That’s where this little beauty comes in.  I love fruity sangria!!! Sangria is really fun to drink with girlfriends around the pool or hot nights on the porch.  It is light, slightly sweet and very refreshing! Think about how much cooler you will feel on hot day in the sun with this drink in your hand.

You can make your own batch of Sangria from scratch real easy or you can purchase it already made in a bottle.  Personally I like to make mine from scratch.  I used Mango flavored Sorbet but you can really use any flavor Sorbet or Sherbet that you like.  I think the traditional 3 color Sherbet would be really fun.  I left out the extra fruit for this just so there would be more room in the glass for the wine!
