Your little Astronauts will go crazy for these!  I think even David Bowie’s Major Tom would have found his way back to earth to have a taste of one of these.  They are just that good!

Root Beer floats are a huge family favorite of ours.  In Chicago where I am from originally, Root Beer Floats are called Black Cow’s.  Funny name for a great treat!!  Growing up this was a summer staple.  Oh who  I am kidding we would make Black Cow’s in the dead of winter!!!

This popsicle has all the classic flavors frozen in a perfectly portable treat.

The most important ingredient in any Root Beer Float recipe is a good quality Root Beer.  Not all Root Beer’s are created equal and to get that right tang you need a good name brand!  Like A &W for instance! A true Classic!

Frozen treats just go hand and hand with summertime and childhood.  These molds just really up the fun factor.  But don’t fret if you don’t have popsicle molds on hand.  Dixie cups or ice cube trays and popsicle sticks work just as well and taste just as GOOD!
