Loaded Baked Potato Dip

Loaded Baked Potato Dip

  • 1 package of instant mashed potatoes {the single side dish package not the whole box}
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

  1. cook and crumble the bacon set aside
  2. in a sauce pan bring the milk and butter to just a soft boil
  3. remove from heat and add the instant potato flakes
  4. let sit so flakes can absorb the liquid
  5. fluff with a spoon {it should be less stiff than when you make as a side dish}
  6. Stir in the sour cream
  7. add salt and pepper
  8. it should be a dippable consistency if not add 1 tbsp of milk at a time until reached
  9. fold in the cheese, bacon, and green onions
  10. Serve room temp. If you store it in the fridge let it come to room temp before you dip
  11. Enjoy!
