 Kraft Natural Shreds  make this meal so ooey gooey good!  Who doesn’t love great melty cheese over, well anything really!  Soccer games and other extra curricular activities are in the rear window for us now.  Yet, that doesn’t mean we have slowed down in over scheduling ourselves as a family.

Saturday mornings are sometimes more hectic than a Monday morning.  I still work full time and Saturday is not a day off for me.  Steve, my husband, is either working on his honey do list, {that somehow never seems to get finished just grows longer} brewing beer, or fulfilling promotional activities.  We sometimes are like 2 ships that pass in the night.

Layers of salsa verde, corn tortilla chips and cheese.  Traditionally they are served with eggs.  I usually make scrambled eggs, but today I want to do a sunny side up egg.

As for the cheese I love using Kraft Cheese!  Kraft  Natural Cheese comes in 3 great ways to use.  My favorite is the Kraft Natural Cheese Shreds.  A sandwich would not be complete without Kraft Natural Cheese Slices.  You also can’t have a party without the Kraft Natural Cheese Chunk.  Nothing goes better on a cracker than a slice off the block.  I cut the block into cubes and take them to work with me for my 3pm slump.  The protein fills me up and cheese always makes me happy!

Breakfast Chilaquiles

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups shredded Kraft Natural Cheese Shreds
  • 3-4 cups tortilla chips
  • 2 cups salsa verde (use red salsa if you like that better)
  • 1 egg for each person eating
  • cilantro and cherry tomatoes for garnish if desired.

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. in a baking dish spread 1 cup of salsa on the bottom
  3. layer the chips on top
  4. sprinkle half the cheese on the chips
  5. pour the next 1 cup of salsa
  6. sprinkle the rest of the cheese
  7. put in oven and bake for 10- 15 min
  8. till cheese is nice and melty
  9. prepare scrambled or sunny side up eggs
  10. garnish and Enjoy!
