Welcome to my First Linky Party! I am so excited to start this new adventure with you all. So excited in fact that I can’t even wait til Monday! So let’s start this party a day early! I think we should always get a party going early don’t you? My plan is to have Show Me Your Plaid Monday’s Party live each Sunday night at 8pm. I’ll have it open until Thursdays at 8. That way I can have 2 days to really gather all the goodies together and be able to highlight the most viewed posts and personal favorites. I want all of us to get as much exposure as possible so I will be pinning and sharing and tweeting.
What would a holiday party be with out cookies?! Cookies are the essence of holiday baking! I have yet to meet a cookie I didn’t like. So much emphasis is always placed on what cookies to leave out for Santa. We want to make sure that Santa gets his Milk and Cookies so that he will leave us fun little treats under the tree and in our stockings. Let’s get to the Brass Tacks of this situation. Yes Santa does slide down all those dirty tight and smelly chimney’s each year, and yes he has to really plan around that reindeer rush hour traffic on Christmas Eve. But… Umm… I think we are forgetting who makes all those fun toys and treats that end up under our tree and in our stockings. There is a very mighty if not small (err excuse the pun) workforce that is hard at work 364 days a year and Santa only has to work 1 night. The Elves of course! I’m not talking Keebler, I’m not talking Tolkien I’m talking about the North Pole Elves. These guys must have the worst Union Representative in History! So in the spirit of Christmas and good will towards Men (and Elves) I made cookies just for the little guys! When you are putting out your plate of cookies for Santa, make sure to add these Elf Cookies also. They are the backbone and the workforce behind all The Santa Magic! Ho Ho Ho!!!
So Let’s get the Party Started!
